Jobless Claims at Lowest Level Since July

At the end of September 30 jobless claims dropped 17,000. The drop was bigger than expected. The United States was expected to add 125,000 jobs last month and also in August. Michigan reported the biggest increase in jobless claims with layoffs in the automotive industry. Kentucky had the biggest decline without giving a reason why. What do you think about the jobless claim situation?

There are many reasons why there would be an increase in jobless claims. One possible reason could be a decrease in demand by employeers for low level employees. Another reason could be the increase of immigrants to the United States, which could cause a decrease of jobs for US citizens. An increase in population, and a decrease in demand of employees by employers could be two possible reasons for an increase in jobless claims.
