Pfizer Cancer Pill Proves Effective

After loosing a very good friend from cancer last semester (Marietta Alum, Jennifer Hammer) the intensity and reality of how cancer effects people has really struck home. This entire occurance was within three years after the discovery of her cancer, a long hard fight against it... After reviewing this atricle, it seems that we may be on the right track in order to fight cancer overall. Many people have stated that the drug companies have cures for cancer and AIDS but are not releasing it, to help secure their business future. I fell this is complete hogwash. If there was a cure held today by a company, their benefit to being the sole firm brining this treatment to the WORLD population would be unreal. So great, that this would probably be one of the highest and most widly used drugs in the US. (Cancer has now taken the #1 Cause of Death in the USA) Why would a company withhold from releasing such a product?
