Social Insecurity

Social security has come under considerable scrutiny as of late. The program was not designed to support this many people who live this long past the age of 65. Some may even call it "social insecurity." Many people see problems with social security, and this disenchantment has traveled high up the ladder, all the way to the President. Bush said earlier that he sees privatization as a potential solution to the problem. His statement has caused quite the uproar, resulting in a variety of opinions. Of course, Wall Street sees this as a good idea because of the money that will be pumped into the market. However, one group, Lyndon LaRouche, stated that such privatization is fascist. On less extreme notes, some agree while others say the move is too risky. Whatever the correct solution is, it has become clear that the weaknesses of our current social security program have become too glaring to ignore. Where will our nest egg come from?
