Follow this link to see a picture of me naked

If you went to this blog then you were probably interested in seeing someone naked. Sorry. What is it about sex that so intrigues us? Is it so interesting because of the taboo placed on it by society, or is it just human nature that we are interested in it and mezmorized by it? Today I was flipping through the channels and I caught myself stopping everytime there was some girl shaking her butt, or showing some skin. I don't know why I stopped, I just did without thinking. Usually the show was some thing I would never watch, but I stopped anyways. Try it sometime.

Advertisers realize this and use it. In a study, researchers found that billboards containing sexual appeals were recognized 91% of the time, while those not using sex were recognized only 83% of the time. Another study looked at means heart rates during sexy beer commercials and found that their heart rates were similar that of being aroused.

So what does all this mean. It means that sex in advertising works and as advertisers struggle to gain your attention, sex will be used more often. So my question is will sex eventually lose its mysticism or will we always be infatuated with sex, and will the moral factor come into play or will the dollars gained from effective advertising win out?
