Jobless Claims at Lowest Level Since July

At the end of September 30 jobless claims dropped 17,000. The drop was bigger than expected. The United States was expected to add 125,000 jobs last month and also in August. Michigan reported the biggest increase in jobless claims with layoffs in the automotive industry. Kentucky had the biggest decline without giving a reason why.
