Gas prices put brakes on auto sales

This article is a perfect example of how compliment goods can effect the demand of a good. The more gas prices go up, the more the demand for SUV's and pick-up trucks is going to go down. However, the rise in gas prices will increase the demand for fuel efficient vehicles. The demand for fuel efficient cars should effect which cars, car companys promote.
